CSA Bangalore Chapter

The CSA Bangalore Chapter is the Indian chapter of the Cloud Security Alliance and one of the most recognised security communities in the country. It has operated as a non-profit association since July 2018, and runs the CyBe AI Summit, CXO roundtables under Chatham House Rule, an annual research programme and a campus outreach pipeline, all delivered by volunteers.

Where CyBe comes from

CyBe Global began in 2023 as a mission inside the CSA Bangalore Chapter: one million cyber defenders. Pursuing it seriously meant quality education and hands-on, interactive learning, and a platform to deliver them on.

CyBe Global Private Limited was incorporated in January 2026 to make that ideology real. It was formed to build the platform locally, to the standard global skills and ecosystem building demand, and to do something a volunteer community is not structured to do: deliver rigorous, enterprise-grade training at scale.

The two are separate and independent organisations. CyBe Global is a commercial entity incorporated under the Companies Act, 2013, and roles within it are paid. The CSA Bangalore Chapter is a voluntary professional community operating as a chapter of the Cloud Security Alliance, and all its positions are unpaid.

Some people hold positions in both. Where that happens, the chapter requires the dual role to be disclosed in any sponsorship or procurement conversation, and the individual withdraws from chapter decisions that materially affect CyBe Global. The chapter does not endorse or transact commercially on behalf of CyBe Global, and its membership data and funds are used solely for chapter purposes.

What that gives our clients is a curriculum reviewed by CISOs active in the community, faculty who are practitioners rather than career trainers, and case studies drawn from incidents our members have actually handled.
